Henry's particular power is that his voice is hypnotic. It's a combination of mild empathy/telepathy, and simple physiology. He knows the right tone and pitch and frequency to trigger an emotional response, be it relaxation, elation, or anger.

Mostly this is instinctive, and mostly he uses it for seduction. He first found out about it when the band that he was backup singer for started gathering bigger and bigger crowds, easily selling out the small venues they were able to get themselves booked at. It became even more apparent when their lead singer quit because of the attention Henry was getting, and the rest of the band voted him in as their new lead singer.

He doesn't yet have proof that this is a mutation, but he's got pretty strong suspicions, and dozens of enthralled fans are hard to hide and even harder to ignore. Luckily his power only works in person, recordings of his voice don't have the same effect.
